Famous Cotswolds Tour

If you are planning to visit the Cotswolds, then book a Cotswolds day trip with us. Cotswolds Guided Tours is run by locals, Richard & Lucy, who have designed two award-winning day tours for their guests. Lucy & Richard pride themselves on offering visitors a true insight into the North Cotswolds, sharing their local knowledge, quirky history & fun facts throughout the day. They will show you all the well-known & much loved locations, along with hidden gems. You will have plenty of time to explore each stop, and can enjoy the scenery as you are driven through little narrow roads between each beautiful location. It is easy to take a Cotswold Tour from London, simply catch the train from London Paddington to Moreton in Marsh railway station where Lucy & Richard will meet you. Equally if you are staying (or studying) in Oxford then the Cotswolds is a short 35 mins making our Cotswold small group tours ideal from Oxford. The added bonus of taking a Cotswolds Guided Tour is that we are the only company offering local collections to those staying in Moreton in Marsh, Stow on the Wold or Chipping Campden (collection service from Chipping Campden & Stow on the Wold is not available for the new Evening Tours). We also keep our group size small to ensure each guest receives the attention they deserve! Only 7 seats available each day. Our Cotswold tours are super affordable & superb value for money. We are the only local company that provides live microphone commentary, free time to explore with maps of every location, local collections & more. So don't delay, book your Cotswold tour with us today! So if you are planning to visit the Cotswolds as a day trip, or if you want to stay a little longer, then look no further, leave it to this award winning Cotswold tour company & book your Cotswold tour with Cotswolds Guided Tours.

On the Famous Cotswolds Tour you will spend time exploring the fabulous waterside village of Lower Slaughter. This is a fantastic location as the large tour buses & coaches are not allowed access to this very special village. You will have time to spend in the most famous village in the Cotswolds, Bourton on the Water. You can visit the little shops, wander over the bridges, head to the miniature village or just sit back & soak up the atmosphere. Another great stop on this tour is the village of Upper Slaughter, One of our favourite villages, find out why this was one of the luckiest places to live in the Cotswolds. During your visit you may even spot some Cotswolds Lions, but don't worry they won't bite! On the Famous Cotswolds Tour you will also visit the highest market town in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds, Stow on the Wold. Uncover the towns history, visit Tolkien's Door, try out the Old Stocks on the village green and even see the 'Oldest Inn in England' or for those who love to shop, why not visit the Cotswolds Chocolate shop and see the chocolate being made, or visit the Cotswolds Cheese shop. That just leaves two more fantastic stops, Great Tew where you can see these traditional thatched cottages & our 'secret' village, connected to two famous writers.
