Top Tips:
The tour will start at 5.30pm and finish at 8pm Monday to Friday & 6pm to 8.30pm on Saturday's, we would recommend having a late lunch or early evening meal before the tour starts. Or you could always have a late dinner after the tour has finished in Moreton in Marsh.
Alternatively, if the weather is nice you could enjoy a 'fish & chip' takeaway sitting by the river in Bourton on the Water, a very traditional English past-time! (Fish & Chips not included in tour price)
If you are travelling from Oxford to meet us, then we would advise catching the train that leaves Oxford at 4.15pm Monday to Friday & arrives in Moreton in Marsh at 4.53pm. On Saturday catch the 4.45pm train from Oxford, which arrives at 5.19pm.
If you are returning to London or Oxford after the tour, we would recommend booking your return train at 8.43pm Monday to Friday or the 8.53pm on Saturday.
When is this tour running?
This evening tour is running during the summer months when the evenings are lighter. The evening tours will start in May, until the end of July.
Unfortunately we are unable to run the Cotswold Evening Tour during any other months, because in the UK the daylight hours reduce after the 21st June (The Longest Day/ Most daylight hours) On the 21st June the sunsets, approximately 9.20pm, it will set at this time for about a week & then the days will start to grow shorter by approximately 3 to 4 minutes per day.
Many of the locations we visit do not have street lighting & we feel it is important that you can see the locations we visit!
