So if any of you are considering making a day trip to the Cotswolds from London, we thought these reviews would be useful for you to read : )
'Wonderful Cotswolds' Thank you Kathi
Cotswolds Guided Tours is a great way to see the beauty of the Cotswolds without having to drive and without feeling like a herd of cows. Richard picked us up and dropped us off in front of our hotel in Stow-on-the Wold, gave us a ton of historical background throughout the day and free time for lunch and shopping. The tour is a maximum of seven people, in a very comfortable van. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and have beautiful pictures as sweet memories of the Cotswolds.
' Famous Cotswolds Tour' Thank you Teri Lea
I'm so glad I listened to all the rave reviews for Richard and Lucy's tours because I can't imagine having a better Cotswold experience. My husband and I arrived at the Moreton-in-Marsh train station early in the morning and Richard picked us and five other travelers up. His vehicle was very spacious and comfy, and not to mention, air-conditioned! Richard was the perfect mix of informative and personable; I loved hearing his historical tidbits as we drove from village to village. And at every stop, you're briefed on the main sights of the town and given a very handy map with suggested walking routes on it so that you don't miss anything. Richard always told us how long we had at each stop. I loved that my husband and I were free to roam around on our own so that we could tailor our visits to each village to our own interests. At the end of our tour, Richard drove my husband and I back to Stow where we were staying for the night. We're already planning for a trip back to England, and when we go, we will without a doubt book another one of Richard and Lucy's Cotswolds tours. Thanks so much, Richard!
Go for this small tour, NOT one of the big coach companies. You won't regret it! Thank you JaneEyre90!
If you want a thorough tour of the Costwolds, take this 7-person, air conditioned van tour. Richard takes you down small roads, to really quaint locations that big coach buses aren't even allowed to go into. At each stop, he gives you a great map card and plenty of time to meet him at the appointed place. There's ample time to shop, have lunch, and take photos at some of the larger villages. It's such a relaxing and congenial tour that by the end you feel like you're on a road trip with good friends. Worth the train ride from London. Richard even rotates seating arrangements to be fair. I've traveled quite a lot, and joined a lot of tours for expediency, and HANDS DOWN this was the best experience I've had. Book any of these tours!
