If this is the first time you have visited the Cotswolds, then the Famous Cotswolds Tour visits all the must see locations in the Northern Cotswolds, including the well known village of Bourton on the Water, where you can do some shopping or wander along the River Windrush & soak up the atmosphere of this busy little village. We also stop at the waterside villages of Lower
Slaughter & Upper Slaughter. These villages have restrictions on & do not allow big coaches to enter the village, so the added benefit of taking your small group tour with us is that we travel in an 8 seater vehicle, 7 passengers and your Cotswold driver guide, and because we keep our groups small we can visit The Slaughters. During the Famous Cotswolds Tour we stop over the lunch break in the highest market town in the Cotswolds, Stow on the Wold. Although lunch is not included in the ticket price, we have suggestions on where to stop for lunch, so if you want a pub lunch, or want to visit a tearooms then we know all the best places to visit. You can even have a cream tea in one of the little tearooms & this will cost as little as £4.50 so why not consider doing this during your north Cotswolds tour. In the afternoon we visit a secret village, completely untouched by tourism & then we head to the thatched village of Great Tew. Great Tew is an excellent stop you will see picture perfect secret cottages and be able to wander around at your own pace, or even pop into the quirky local pub for a glass of something to finish off the day.
